The top banner is the "frosted glass" banner at the top of the template page. The file is provided in PhotoShop format and is located in the PSD folder in the template zip file; you may add text to that, or replace it with an image of your choice. The banner width is 952 pixels.

This page will explain how to use the banner section, insert or remove it.

Included in the template packages is a folder named “PSD”. Inside this folder you will find Banners_source.psd file. This is a layered PSD file with all the components needed to create a banner for your needs. The font we use is "Myriad Pro".

There are two groups of text layers: Code Numbers and Division Name. Each group has two layers within it. Please make sure to change the text on both layers in the layer group you are using. When ready to export or save the file for the web, hide layer 1 ("Background"), and save your file as a PNG.

In order to eliminate the banner section from your page, look for following section in your html file:

Simply remove the code between the commented area in that section.

You can use the same png image with IE6. Just make sure the following lines exist in your files:
